Foodies' Bus Tour North of the Yarra

Melbourne Food tours leads you on a culinary journey through the best food stores in Carlton, Fitzroy and North Melbourne. Start with a guided walk through the iconic Queen Victoria Market. Learn a little about the history of this famous foodie landmark. Then we explore the meat and seafood hall, the deli hall and the many wonderful fresh produce stalls, enjoying tastings along the way.

We than make our way to enjoy Sicilian inspired sweet treats at an amazing new bakery in North Melbourne. Next up a visit to a coffee roasting warehouse for a caffeine hit to keep us on the go. We then travel to Lygon Street, Carlton where we'll taste the most divine French inspired pates and terrines at La Parisienne Pates.

Our culinary journey them moves into Fitzroy for tastings of jamon at the famous Casa Iberica Spanish deli. There's also a delicious lunch at the wonderful Enoteca Sileno before a refreshing gelati at Il Dolce Freddo. Finally we'll make our way to Books For Cooks as we finish off our day with handmade chocolates and a glass of something special.

Each tour is a tailored experience to suit the groups' interests and aims. The places visited also depends on the day of the tour as some markets and stores are only open on set days.
